One acre should be dedicated exclusively to livestock. Far greater caloric and overall health returns for ruminant meat / organs. One good acre can carry ≈20 sheep. An herb garden takes essentially zero space so that can be had as well but row plants are out. Low nutrient density, high toxin load.
