Ok, so I've been playing with this and here's where I'm at.
1. Patched MiniVMac so it reports on the command line when a disk has been ejected in the VM. This likely could be picked up by a script to invoke the motor to eject.
2. Made a sym link to the USB floppy device named "disk2.dsk", enable the "-iid" option, patch to hide the control popup, and use xdotool to inject a "ctrl-2" keystroke to insert "disk2.dsk"
Just need to know when a disk is inserted in the USB drive now.
