This just appeared out of the blue. No, I didn't add a new Mac. No, I didn't recently do an OS update (which can sometimes trigger this). No, I didn't change iMessage or FaceTime settings anywhere. And the list of devices in System Settings is the same as it always is. As informative messages go (like mentioning the identity of the supposed new Mac), this fails. Sometimes I reckon Apple might be losing the plot.
