#WordWeavers 2411.04 — Describe a cozy memory your MC has. What are the sounds, sights, smells & other sensations in it?

She and her BFF from friend got estranged around age 8, the awful reasons both talked about and later dealt with during story time. She missed him terribly the farther in the past the incident became.

One day she remembered being in a tin tub with him in a rather peasant-style bathroom, maybe on a rear porch? Bubbles. Splashing warm water that had been pour from pots. What passes as rubber duckies in their world. Washing of backs. Magic throwing suds all around. Them giggling and squealing.

Then there's the realization he's a boy.

And that she and he were probably 3 years old. Long before the bad stuff.
