Patsy Ann (1929-1942) postcard. She was a deaf bull terrier who greeted every ship that visited Juneau. In her time, she was one of the most photographed aspects of Alaska, so thousands of tourists returned home with a picture of her. When she died, she was buried at sea. Her statue on the Juneau cruise ship dock was installed in 1992. #alaskahistory #alaska #juneauhistory #juneau
