So, when you say the Democratic Party and Republican Party are similar, you are talking about the small portion of Democratic legislatures that prevent progressive legislation, because their voters aren’t progressive. And the National Democratic Party knows that we need those seats to get any legislation at all, so those are the stated policies.

By and large, I think Democratic legislators are pretty progressive.
