Today I wrote a small flake to launch a dev shell at work that contained almost all of our dependencies, just by pulling from nixpkgs.

There's one piece of software that will require an actual build and will require more in-depth work.

I still don't feel like I really "understand" Nix, but at least it's getting better. Slowly. I like it more and more the more I use it.

I'm not entirely sure it is the future, but I'm 100% sure the future will look something like it.
