STUCK IN NOSTR NOTIFICATION HELL??
Tired of checking your Nostr notifications only to find out that the person being replied to isn't actually you, but somebody else? I sure was! So I upgraded NostrGram to (optionally) prevent this.
You see, many Nostr clients will put you in the tags for a reply even if you're not actively being replied to. For instance, if you wrote the original note and many discussions begin in the replies, you'll get tagged on ALL of those replies even though you're not actually a part of those mini-conversations!
The new (optional) DIRECT NOTIFICATIONS ONLY setting in NostrGram causes NG to only show notifications if you're the author of the note directly being replied to or if you've been tagged within the note's content. This frees you from Notifications Hell and the internal deflation caused when you thought you got a reply but you really didn't (admit it, you feel that too).
This update is now live in NostrGram (just refresh the page if you're using it now). The update also contains the following:
* Added font and font size options in settings
* Added support for logging in using NSEC private keys
* BUG FIX: Sometimes when replying to a note while viewing the thread the thread window failed to scroll to the position of the new note.
* BUG FIX: Notifications were being shown when you didn't actually have any new events.
* BUG FIX: After tagging an individual in a note, the tag would sometimes persist into future notes where it did not belong.
