Kalam, my friend. We mustn't think simply like finite creatures, and that everything is like us.
1. Whatever begins to exist, has a cause of its existence (i.e. something has caused it to start existing).
2. The universe began to exist. i.e., the temporal regress of events is finite.
3. Therefore, the universe has a cause.
God, being eternal, has no creator or beginning. As He has said, I am the Alpha and the Omega, the beginning and the ending. When He told Moses His name, it means simply "I Am", e.g., "I have always been."
