After almost 30 years of faithful service, our Chantal teapot with its Hohner harmonica whistle finally broke. Specifically, the lid broke at the point where the handle was spot-welded to it. Guess all that flexing finally stressed the metal into breaking.

So we got a cheap one to replace it. Can't stand it! The whistle is actually painfully loud.

Got another Chantal today. $120, no less. With harmonica. And the handle is bolted on now.

Good for another 30...
