Today's harvest... I periodically check beets and carrots for progress, and I'm inevitably disappointed. I'll let 'em keep growing but this season's experiments are pretty much a wash in this area, I think. I'm heading out to the garden this weekend to plant some things for the fall and think about soil amendments for next year...
