I tried but not early enough so it was already in use by a New Zealand agriculture company IIRC. Since then that company has either completely rebranded or been swallowed by another ag company, but they keep renewing (currently out to 2030). They use domain privacy now but it's been pointing at the same DNS servers since before they turned that on so likely the same company.
At one point I considered trying to buy it but figured any reasonable offer for personal use would be not worth the time on their end to figure out how to even charge for it and get paid.
