My experiences with mandatory masking at Pycon in 2022 and 2023:
-It's pretty uncomfortable for me and I'm often wishing I could just take the mask off.
-I keep the mask on because that was the decision by the community and people made plans on the basis there would be masking. I get mad if I see people half-assing a mask under their nose or something. Few attendees do.
-Despite sharing a convention center with non-masking conventions, neither me nor anyone I know even came back with con crud
