Just taking a moment of silence for all of the people who have put so much effort into trying to communicate that the #Fediverse is so much bigger than just #Mastodon. Because that uphill battle is still far from over and now people (Mastodon users included!) are about to get hit with #Threads likely having 90% of the Fediverse user base once federation is (presumably) enabled. Cue all the "Fediverse, what's that? I'm on Threads" comments.
