I think it’s just dumb. It’s similar to when the VP of Tax Equity at BAML told me they wouldn’t allow/approve any of the generators in their tax-equity portfolio to do any behind the meter bitcoin mining. Very dystopian. You can use power, but to create a cryptocurrency. That power is ours alone.
