If your profile images are reverting to default then your url is invalid, timing out, or contains an unsupported format. Currently Damus supports
- GIF
- PNG
- JPG
- SVG
- WEBP

If your images are GIFs and are not animating, the file size is likely too large. Max file size (uncompressed) for GIFs
- Profile picture: 1MB
- Banner: 5MB
