So the fun part about today's two-days-to-go-until-cover-reveal quote is that I am yearning to hear the actor portraying Troy in the audiobook version of A Misfortune of Lake Monsters say these lines. Troy is inspired by a guy I adored in my very sophomore undergrad year of college, and so there's something very sweet and pure about the character that makes me swoon. Maybe that's weird for a horror novel, but... it's cozy horror adjacent & FUN. I can get away with it... I think. :)
