last time I got a flat it was on a major interstate in a truck I’d owned maybe 6 months. pulled over, dropped the fullsize spare, broke loose the lug nuts, and pumped up the bottle jack. this will be a piece of cake. tried to wrestle the wheel off but it was not coming. wtf. are there some kind of wheel locks on this thing? inspect, pull, kick, ponder, repeat. google it. felt like a lifetime. eventually I pull out the axe (always carry an axe) and take a swing at the tire with the blunt side. knocks loose. WHEW.
