I have a possibly odd question, I'll try to word it as best I can.
You know how Husky allows you to log in with multiple alts/accounts and switch between them. There's even the "Open as [account]" option for posts.
My question is, would it be technically possible for it to combine those multiple accounts into one single timeline?
Like, if a post is visible from more than once logged-in account, it wouldn't show multiple copies of it, but maybe an icon or something indicating which accounts that post was fetched from.
My thought is this could be a solution for the fragmentation of the fediverse caused by extensive blocking/de-federation. Just create alts on various servers, and view most, if not all the fediverse in one view.
Of course, this would probably necessitate it prompting the user every time they wanted to make a post or reply to ask which account they want to post/reply with, but I think that would be an acceptable trade-off.
If I managed to explain it clearly, is something that would even be feasible from a programming perspective?
(Feel free if you want to CC anyone else who might have relevant knowledge.)
