At least for appointments with fixed times, with social calls I am far more flexible on time, which annoys my partner to no end, she's like "what time are you going to meet your Mom" and I'll say "this afternoon" which is sufficient for me, but she wants a time like 2:45 or something and is stressed about being "late", but it's hard to be late for a social engagement unless you don't meet.
