I have Windows-based computers for work but I switched to a Mac for personal use a long time ago. It’s not that things never break when I do a major update on the Mac, but at least when they *do* break I almost always understand why.
With Windows or Office it’s like, “screw you randomly today.”
My Mac also respects my configuration settings and does not switch them back. Windows, of course, does this all the time.
