Comet C/2023 A3 (Tsuchinshan-ATLAS) on 26 Oct, as seen from the Sacramento mountains of southern New Mexico. (Elevation 9,440 feet.)

First image is a 200mm telephoto view of the comet against the rich star fields of Ophiuchus. (Stack of 108 25-second exposures.) The stars are trailed and the comet's tail is fairly bright.

Second image is a stack of only 26 images that are aligned on the stars. (Comet motion is not too large, so it's not appreciably blurred.) The stars are sharp, but with a smaller stack the comet's tail doesn't show as brightly because I don't want to boost contrast and make the sky background that noisy looking.
