Why does God need my money?
No matter if you believe in God or not, what is God going to do with money? God can’t take it from you, it’s humans taking it from you.

Just a side note here but the ancient Egyptians believed they had to buy their way through the underworld(pay someone to write spells on a scroll to help get through) to get to the afterlife.
