I find it hard to create Adversary Reactions in Vaesen. You know, where you hit the players with a sudden orc ambush or a visit from murderous cultists. Because the folkloric beings at the centre of the game are mostly stationary, animal-like, impersonal, not focused on the characters. The selkie, Sw. bäckahästen, is only dangerous if you go down to the river alone. It isn't going to come after you when you go out at night to visit the inn's outhouse.
