He is 100% right, it is unfortunate,

I have ran several tests with Primal, Amethyst, 0XChat and Voyage on mobile and compare with Iris, Snort and other, play with the relays and monitor censorship, created new accounts only for the tests, replays on influencers accounts would neither show for newly created accounts. Hopefully there will be a change of direction,

1. The user should be empower, not the app or the relay, it is for the user to decide what to watch and read, otherwise WTF are we doing here
2. The apps should have built in optional filters for the users to choose from (filtering # normally used to pedal certain type of content, filtering words as well)
3. The app should not be for minors since it suppose to be censorship free, therefore, children could be exposed to undesirable content.
4. The relays should have been built with zero knowledge for theservers admins, instead, they will be afraid of laws and regulations

I personaly enjoy the new tech, the vast potential, but I have to admit, looking forward to #Nostr2.0, this, IMO, was a nice try.

On the development arena some amazing products are emerging and those are teams to keep am eye on and of you are into grants, teams to consider: 0XChat, Amethyst and Minibits.

The trade of to have a product that is libertarian and to monetize sufficiently at the same time requires to be in the design table from the get go, hopefully some will understand that when we move towards 2.0 perhaps this time with #ARK instead of #LN
