Definitely a fine balance. I've noticed quite a few UI designer types saying their preferred platform for sharing/seeing new work is X. Maybe because that type of design work requires threads + text to properly explain, maybe because twitter-like apps engender better discussion, maybe none of the above.
But I'd have guessed Instagram was the go-to for visuals, and been wrong.
So different strokes for different folks. Looking forward to the real launch and seeing how it develops.
