COOL FREE RINGTONES (nprofile…aq5l) Punished Kero (nprofile…6ak9) nyanide :nyancat_rainbow::nyancat_body::nyancat_face: (nprofile…dxfh) Ahmed Al Khayyam (nprofile…3w5m) okay what you said is bullshit and I knew it's bullshit because it's how I've been doing it for years, stroke selection literally just does selection-to-path and stroke path ignoring selection, it should be the same
but turns out it still isn't
>"Stroke a selection" generates a path on-the-fly with parameters that are different from the the ones used in the "Select--to-path" to this path is not as smooth.
>In the image below, the red is "stroke selection" (selection obtained by "Alpha to selection") and the blue is "select to path, stroke path", and the red is visibly more wiggly.

and if you just try both with defaults and compare (pic2) they're also different for some reason, so I've still been doing it wrong for 18 years. I can't believe forum signature tutorials taught me wrong
but turns out it still isn't
