One of those flavors includes the USA military. Sorry, but the government funding weapons to kill and intimidate workers of the world is not socialism, no matter how well the military takes care of its soldiers.

My point was not that humans don't make mistakes, but that the PARTICULAR type of mistakes you were referring to cannot be chalked up to "human nature." It has been the deliberate decisions of a small number of humans acting in opposition to the desires of a much larger number of humans. That is a far cry from "human nature."
