I took a look at the contents of the 'harvard classics', more or less a personal selection of books that is supposed to get you to the halfway accomplished human level. i think if you actually read all of them, you know more about life, literature, science and poetry than 99% of humans on this earth. If this was in any way normal then we really did lose a lot.
