My boomer Quaker is named Tiki, he's a rescue from Craigslist, as was my lovebird Skittles. Yoshi the conure, was a gift from my dad after my husband passed away. Birds are a mixed bag, and I love them but sometimes they drive me crazy. They're highly emotional, they get in their moods where they're cuddly one moment and then bloodthirsty the next. I got scars on my fingers and face from them. They're all territorial so they can't be out of the cage at the same time. My Quaker almost killed the lovebird, he does not like any one touching his cage whether he is inside or out of it. That's his castle, and I hate cleaning his cage because of how anal he is about it. If you're serious about getting a birb, research the different kind and see which one might be suitable for you, especially when it comes to noise and temperament. But if you have any questions feel free to ask me, as I am the resident bird lady around here lol.
