Yep. Of course you work with what you have got, but take the idea of interstellar space travel for example, humans are most likely never going to do it simply because the container is squishy, dependent on too many resources and at it’s core violent with survival instincts. That’s a really shitty recipe for spending long periods in travel and surviving in non-earth like environments.
