To hand code or vibe code, that is the question for the times.
Years ago, I remember the craze for application builders (before applications became 'apps'). They were great, but sooner than later, you ran into a brick wall and you either had to hand code your way around templated slop, or generate your own templates that required a level of abstract thinking that was useless for your problem at hand. More often than not, you had to go back to the drawing board and hand code from the ground up.
I have similar feelings about vibe coding. It's easy to create a Potemkin Village app, but the real app needs hand coding from the outset.
