Before I got my #SteamDeck, I used my big machine for Linux and Windows - Linux for basically everything except gaming and CAD and Windows for, well, gaming and CAD. Now that I had my Steam Deck for over a year, I wanted to try gaming on Linux on the big PC, too. I have two games the Deck can't run for resource reasons.
It just worked. I could even import my already installed games from Windows to Ubisoft Connect on Linux, no need to re-download. They just work with Proton. Goodbye Windows!
