perhaps you have not tried #Amethys, last time I read something from you, you were praising a client that needs lots of work; Primal; if you have not, I suggest you test Amethyst and 0XChat...

Communities... I dont understand what are you implying here Jack...Looking for ways to censor content or for a "selected group to own #Nostr view of truth"? If that is the case, not appealing at all, we have that in X already. What communities will push as backup to support their claim? Fake news? Dubious sources? An opinion from an "expert"?, it is already tiring 👎

Why to fund with grants #Nostr development to after consider censorship in one way or another? So confusing. IMO, the answer is not rocket science:

Users should be given the control to censor what they read and watch, as Amethyst does, you can block, mute and report at will and curate what you consume over time. Even report nudity or illegal content if you want to, YOUR CHOICE!

In a decentralized censorship resistant protocol, only the user should be empower to censor, otherwise, WTF are we doing here?🤔

Those who wants automated curated content for them don't really belong here, they belong in Facebook, X, Insta, tiktok, centralized applications in general where you will read and watch only what is approved by the central entity, you are not empowered nor allowed to think or decide by yourself, neither given the opportunity to listen all sources of an argument, how insulting! 🤬

So, communities fixes this?
