There's a bunch of people on this thread who I've had positive interactions with. There's some sub-threads now where others have been dropped off, so even the act of figuring out where to jump in is more complex than it should be. Discord is even worse for me. I really miss web forums, and am saddened that Facebook has more or less killed them; I long for a resurgence.
Still, if I see something where I think I can make a contribution, I'll chime in. There are maybe a dozen folks who use the #WritingCommunity tag who I interact with regularly, and there is some sense of community in that I'd be happy to sit down with them IRL over a coffee/beer and have a conversation.
