I was trying to figure out your setup because it looked like you had one big softbox behind the camera but there were two lights in your eyes, so I was wondering if one of them was a window or something. The portrait is really evenly lit with nice light shadows. I bet this would look great with a high key monochrome treatment. Good luck with your flash journey, it’s on my list of things I’d like to try someday. Have you read the Strobist website by any chance? It’s what got me interested in the possibilities a while back.
