I'm not holding out a lot of hope for the OSI people, that org seems to have lost the plot, but I'm hopeful that the Creative Commons can bring a sensible vision for consentful training dataset participation into the world.
As one idea, traceability within model outputs is gettingclose to tolerable for citing text sources, there's probably a path to something like cc-by-sa through there.
