I cannot believe I'm about to say this, but I appear to have finally cracked sub-30 in #ParkRun! 29:29 - nearly a full minute off my previous PB which was before all my heart nonsense. I am beyond thrilled with that and did not expect it (although did wonder if I might actually die this morning, so that'll be why). It's a really silly and arbitrary number, but it's been the one real achievement I've been aiming for and had joked I might try and do it before the end of the year, so I'm beyond thrilled to have done it. I feel like I've won the Olympics or something. Is this what self validation feels like? Hooray for me! Well done, me! Why thank you, me. You're welcome, me! Hooray!
