A building near where we live has flats that are given to refugee families. From a window in my flat I can see the balcony of one of those flats. Very often there is a guy sitting outside. Morning, afternoon and evening. Sitting there looking out. There must be a reason but I still don't understand why refugees can't work and thus escape the inevitable depression that grips you when you spend the day looking outside
