Quite possibly the slowest way to get from Utrecht to London, but fun to try. Drove to Calais, then a shuttlebus to the ferry terminal where you need to check in 90(!) minutes before departure. Some waiting, then another shuttle bus to pasport control. Back in the shuttlebus to the ship. Bus waits next to a big stairs. Bus decides to drive up truck ramp instead. Chill in the lounge. Walk off the ship. Another shuttle bus to customs. Walk to Dover train station. Miss originally booked train and buy new ticket. All in all about 12 hours door to door. But at least it avoids the 3 hour security line at Schiphol!
