i looked over at the current roster and they've got this Homelander-like figure who is about as stereotypically 2000's American as you can get, it's great
i had a peek at some wrestling fans talking since WWE is just hitting streaming, and it's been interesting how underestimated it is. people like to say superheroes are a very American invention, and they are somewhat correct, but i think pro wrestling is far more in tune with American culture and values. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xKT_X_aRv1w
