We're currently saving the pull tabs off cold drink cans, and when we have a coke bottle full, we will either take to the recycling centre ourselves -- apparently it's worth a decent amount of money -- or maybe just give it to someone and tell them to go recycle it and keep the money.

There used to be a private company that came to collect all our old newspapers once a week, and gave us these green hessian bags to put them in. But that stopped about a year ago now. :/
