Over a month ago, my truck got wrecked, and the insurance company (let's keep them anonymous) has yet to offer me a fair deal. So, I did what anyone in need of a truck would do - I bought a beat-up 2006 F250 from an auction. A little time, a few YouTube tutorials, and a couple of hundred bucks in parts later, it was running well enough for what I needed.
Yesterday, I put this old truck to the test. I hooked it up to my gooseneck trailer, loaded my tractor on, and drove it over to the kids' school for some community cleanup and shredding work. The truck, despite its age and condition, pulled through without a hitch.
An old truck, with some care, can still do the job.
I feel like that old truck today. I think I need some time and work on myself to see what the future holds. I have some work left in me and I know I can get the job done.
