npub18ljjwuh8vt0lrh3fe3vsefddt40u297gtsk3d4v4ywhjnvms9zfqy480hq (npub18lj…80hq) my birthday is almost exactly equidistant from Christmas and New Year so with the exception of my parents, I was a frequent receiver of the dreaded birthday/Christmas gift. It's also only like 8 days (and 4 years) from my sister's birthday, So if it wasn't combined with Christmas, it was joint sibling parties.
I enjoy the celebration but it never feels like I'm the main focus of the celebration. Luckily I have wonderful friends who make sure it does not get lost in the shuffle.
