Well, mostly because Trimet hasn't really allowed stations to develop in the same way as other cities, where stations usually also feature an arcade (as in the kind of walkup-format mini mall, but hey, that shopping arcade sometimes does feature a video game arcade) on the street (or near-street) level mezzanine. Closest I've seen were the little walk up kiosks that opened at 99th Avenue and at Sunset on the Blue Line.
