The other day I actually orange pilled a friend.
Some background: most of my friends are Ivy League graduates, hold master degrees, work in finance, and make good money, but the vast majority will not humor a conversation on #bitcoin, nor can they explain it even at a beginner level.
A couple other friends have conceded to buying some amount of bitcoin because it seemed like a good number-go-up asset, but this one friend was different…
What I am finally realizing is Bitcoin isn’t an intelligence test, it’s an ego test. This friend in particular has a child-like level of curiosity with everything they do, and that is the only type of person who will ever grasp bitcoin.
