And while I tend to agree with your sentiment, I do think zaps are a fundamental shift in monetization possibilities as they allow for another form of profit-making thay doesn't have to rely on data harvesting, clicks, and ads. Existing fiat platforms have predatory design patterns, yes, but they can be made drastically better with zaps.
