What is different this time is that the Skepticism Chart shows human skepticism peaking. That will cause heavy vetting of candidates, in addition to heavy auditing of existing leaders.
The compromised among the leaders will lose interest in leadership positions which are heavily audited, and move on to quieter and darker corners of the influence machine.
