I remember when soda machines dispensed those short, fat, glass bottles with the superthin foam label. Seems like about one in five would break as it dropped out of the machine.
Then again, those returnable glass coke bottles were tough as nails.
I knew recycling was a scam.
I do think we should go back to reusing glass bottles though…
