I have to go drop off a person at the airport who I don't know how they survive. She represents everything that is wrong in America. This person has had no job for 9 months, doesn't think clearly about the cost of life and simply thinks: "I need to get back to school and I am going to suffer the indignities of spending the next 8 years of going to school, hopefully to fix my financial problems."
I have tried to explain to this person, like someone should have done to me: "Going back to school for 10 years when you are 28 is not a good idea." If I had had someone explain to me when I was 28 that going back to school was the stupidest idea I have ever had ...
